Repairs

Repair of extensive dry rot and pest damage to this historic rear porch. Framing repairs were made before moving up to replace skirting and cut in a picture frame border to remove rot from old porch planks, while saving the majority of the original wood

Removal of 6 layers of shingles down to the original plank roof, sheathing over with 7/16" osb and fresh shingles laid 

Replacement of cedar lap siding on gable end wall. Correction of headwall flashing to improve bulk water management.
